|
Waldo has boundless energy. Here he is walking with a big branch from a tree at the wooded trails at Ward Pond. He loves to swim (after sticks!) and has a bark that gets your attention.

| Monty & Nina |
|
Monty & Nina are a brother and sister team who were rescued from a shelter on Martha’s Vineyard. Nina is on the left. They were very nervous when we met them after just being adopted, but now they are happy in their new home, which, as luck would have it, is steps from Jamaica Pond.

| Typhoon |
|
Typhoon is an adorable pug. He gets so excited to go for walks that he makes squeaking sounds. He loves other dogs and dog treats too. He dances for treats when we return home after his walks at the pond.

Toby is another chocolate lab we walk with limitless enthusiasm. She bounds out the door when we arrive and practically shakes with excitement about going outside. She loves her walks in the Forest Hills Cemetery. Here she is waiting for us at the window, out walking and in her post-walk, post-treat contentment.

| Flint |
|
Flint is a handsome, spunky Cairn Terrier who wins the prize for most squirrel-obsessed pooch. He lives across from the pond, so he has a big territory to hunt. He's also a sensitive little guy who likes to watch tv during the day and you should see him sit up for a treat, you couldn't say no!

| Willow |
|
Willow is a Great Dane/Lab mix. This past winter was her first New England winter, which was a shock to her, but here she is ecstatically rolling in grass. She has a big head with very intelligent, soulful eyes, which you can't tell from this picture. She also lives near the Arboretum and likes to explore the trails.

Ruby is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She's well known and loved for her boundless energy. She gives the most enthusiastic greeting we've seen! |

Berri is a beautiful Hound mix. She lives close to Jamaica Pond and enjoys the squirrels there very much. She's very playful, loves people, dogs and swimming. |

Ilsa is a Beagle and sister to Per. She likes slow walks, being the scent dog that she is. She's all business until it's time for treats. |

Per is Ilsa's brother and also a Beagle. He likes to walk fast, smelling everything along the way, but only stopping at the most important places. He's pretty fond of treats too, and can jump high for a small guy.

Clyde is a sweetheart once you get to know him. He enjoys other dogs, walks when it's not too hot and is a loyal friend.

Gus is a Boxer who lives near the Forest Hills Cemetery and gets to romp in the trails on our walks. Nothing passes by without his notice. He's very alert and solid muscle!

streets away. She's very pretty (as you can see) and she's the best-smelling dog I know. She also loves to play fetch and jog with her
Mommy. |

| Kerry is a West Highland Terrier
with a lot of personality. She loves to walk around Jamaica Pond and meet every dog and person along the way. She's very playful and does a 'drop and roll' trick that has to be seen! |

| Sophie is a cockapoo and I've known her since she was a puppy. She has a
lot of energy and is Kerry's walking mate. They both love to wrestle and run in the grass at the pond. Look at that face!
