In the wild, we’re told, everything eats raw meat. Does that mean we should feed it to our dogs instead of the prepared food in ads? Maybe (more explained below). At Paws to Consider we are sure to fulfill all of you pups dietary needs complimentary, as part of our dog walks and all pet-sitting services (as directed by the dog owner of course).

There are plenty of branded raw food options for dogs. They include some amount of secondary ingredients but exclude corns and wheats. They are often put through a process called High Pressure Processing which removes harmful bacteria such as salmonella, e. coli, etc. so they are still very safe. Is this better for your dog than traditional dog food? The jury is still out. If you do choose to go this route: do NOT give your dog random raw meats. And be very careful about their transition to the new diet…always check the packaging for AAFCO standards to make sure that your dog is getting the best!
